Meet Shelly Rankin – Your trusted Senior Loan Processor with a heart for service and a passion for helping you achieve your homeownership dreams.

Shelly’s journey to Onslow County began in 2008 when the Marine Corps relocated her family here. What was once a temporary move became a permanent one in 2021 when her husband retired. As a proud military spouse, Shelly deeply understands the unique needs of service members and their families. That’s why she’s proud to work for a company that is highly experienced in VA loans.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Springfield, Shelly brings a wealth of experience to her role, with backgrounds in both healthcare and real estate. Her attention to detail, combined with a deep commitment to her clients, ensures every step of the loan process is smooth and stress-free.

There is more to Shelly than her professional credentials. As a proud mama of fraternal twins, a devoted dog mom, and a dedicated volunteer with local charities like Be the Light ENC; her roots run deep in the community, and she is passionate about giving back.

Jennifer Furtney Dorn

Jennifer came to the Onslow County area by way of the military as a child and has resided in North Carolina since that time.  She graduated from North Carolina State University in 1995 and began working in the mortgage business shortly after earning her degree.  Having been raised a “military brat” herself, Jennifer both understands and respects the unique challenges that our military families face.  She is one of the founding members of Carolina Family Mortgage and takes immense pride in serving our community in various way.  Jennifer has two daughters.  Rounding out the family is the adorable and somewhat mischievous four-legged kiddo, Sasha Fierce.
